Arusha is a city of northern
Tanzania surrounded by some of
Africa's most famous landscapes
and national parks. Beautifully
situated below Mount Meru on the
eastern edge of the eastern
branch of the Great Rift Valley,
it has a pleasant climate and is
close to Serengeti, Ngorongoro
Crater, Lake Manyara, Olduvai
Gorge, Tarangire National Park,
and Mount Kilimanjaro, as well
as having its own Arusha
National Park on Mount Meru.
International flights arrive at
Kilimanjaro International
Airport, and regional flights
use Arusha airport.

Arusha National Park: |
|
Drive to Arusha National park
with your skilled Driver guide.
In the park you will do
a walking Safari for entire
morning. The walking assisted by
an armed ranger that will allow
you to see interesting variety
of flora and fauna closely.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the
Ngurdoto lakes while watching
the flamingos feeding at the
shore lakes. After lunch get
into the jeep for game driving
in the park visiting the 7
Momella lakes and Ngurdoto
Crater. Leave the park late
evening. |

Day 2: |

Arusha - Lake Manyara: |
|
Depart early in the morning,
Game viewing with your expert
guide in Manyara National Park.
Lake Manyara National Park is a
national park two hours west of
Arusha. The majority of the land
area of the park is a narrow
strip running between the
Gregory Rift wall to the west
and Lake Manyara, an alkaline or
soda-lake, to the east. It is
famous for its population of
flamingos. Manyara is used as
an alternate or extension to
Ngorongoro, located just outside
the the conservation area gate.
Guests can sightsee in two
completely different temperate
zones only 90 minutes apart.
Park fees are less expensive
than Ngorongoro. From soaring
groundwater forests and a
tranquil lake, to the mountain
escarpment of the Great Rift
Valley, Lake Manyara National
Park boasts an incredible wealth
of habitats and diverse African
wildlife. |

Lake Manyara - Serengeti: |
|
Includes a stop at the
famous Olduvai Gorge
where the homonid "Lucy"
and other significant
archaeological
discoveries have been
made. Game viewing with
your expert guide in
Serengeti National Park.
Includes national park
fees. Tanzania's oldest
and most popular
national park, the
Serengeti is massive in
size, 14,763 sq km
(5,700 sq miles). Famed
for its annual
migration, when some six
million hooves pound the
open plains, as more
than 200,000 zebra and
300,000 Thomson's
gazelle join the
wildebeest’s trek for
fresh grazing. Yet even
when the migration is
quiet, the Serengeti
offers the most
expansive game-viewing
in Africa: great herds
of buffalo, smaller
groups of elephant and
giraffe, and thousands
upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni,
impala and Grant’s gazelle.

Day 6: |

Ngorongoro Crater: |
|
Leave very early in the
morning for game viewing in the
Ngorongoro crater with your
skilled guide. Includes national
park fees. Enjoy lunch
(included in tour
price). Descend into the
Ngorongoro caldera to
view the wildlife on the
crater floor. "The
Ngorongoro Crater is
often called ‘Africa’s
Eden’ and the ‘8th
Natural Wonder of the
World’. A massive
extinct volcano, the
sheet walls drop
thousands of feet to a
"Noah's Ark" of animals
on the verdant floor
below. Large herds of
zebra, buffalo, antelope
and wildebeest graze
nearby while sleeping
lions laze in the sun.
At dawn, the endangered
black rhino returns to
the thick cover of the
crater forests after
grazing on dew-laden
grass in the morning
mist. The world-famous
Ngorongoro Crater is at
the eastern edge of the
Serengeti in northern
Tanzania. Nearly three
million years old, the
ancient caldera of the
once-volcanic Ngorongoro
shelters one of the most
beautiful wildlife
havens on earth, ringed
with towering walls and
sheltering forests,
grasslands, fresh
springs and a large soda
lake. |

Day 7: |
|
Ngorongoro Crater - Bulati
Maasai Village: |
|
Leave the camp very early in the
morning, Drive to Naiyobi Maasai
village near Olmoti Crater where
you’ll drop off from the jeep.
Our Maasai guide will meet you
to go on a beautiful hike across
the magnificent Embulbul
depression. Along the way you’ll
visit a Maasai village and also
take some time to learn their
way of life. The Maasai are
World famous for their rich
cultural heritage. Experience
some wildlife along the trail
(No lions though). The hike is
non strenuous and takes about 7
hours to cross the depression.
Evening free at the camp or go
dancing with the Maasai
worriers.

Day 8: |
|
Bulati Maasai Village - Empakai
Crater then Arusha: |
|
Hike to the rim of
Empakaai Crater
and down to the Crater floor.
The Empakaai Crater is one of
the most beautiful places on the
Crater Highlands. Much of the
crater floor is covered by a
jewel like lake. Walk along the
lakeshore teeming with thousands
of pink flamingos. The eerie
lake, the occasional hyena
chasing flamingoes, the wild
sounds.. Afternoon climb back to
the rim and drive back to
Arusha. |
