Amani Afrika is a very professional
organisation. They were recommended by a friend
who lives in Arusha and exceeded our
expectations. From our arrival we were looked
after extremely well, taking us around town and
even out to dinner.
Our
safari was fantastic, made even better by our
very friendly and knowledgeable guide, we saw
EVERY animal we had hoped to see! Our cook was
very experienced and the food was tasty and
clean. We stayed in tents and enjoyed the
isolation in the Serengeti.
Thank you Amani Afrika for our memorable trip to
Tanzania.

People who love

G'day i have been in Africa now for just over a
year and recently scaled the biggest mountain
with a great mate. We went up with Temba and his
smiling team of helpers, cooks and story
tellers. The trip was just amazing with
definitely one of the best experiences I have
had so far on this continent and my life. The
Mountain is just beautiful in splendour and
shoots up out of the ground just out side of the
hot town of Moshi. Our 6 days started early and
from day one we were looked after like kings.
The porters do all the hard work for you and the
Chef Mr D makes camping on the side of a
mountain like going to a high class restaurant.
Temba's knowledge and experience is second to
none and has only ever got a smile on his face.
Our small team that climbed the mountain became
well know between other groups as we were always
singing and laughing along route. The Other
guides and climbers would often ask why this was
so that we were having so much fun and our
response was that we were just all friends the
whole team and that the journey is the most
important experience and fun not just the
summit.
That was the best bit of advice I could give
anyone is that it’s all about the journey up and
down, not just the half an hour you spend on the
top of Africa. I couldn't have asked for a
better experience or team of friends. Amani
Afrika is a group of people who really know how
to provide a great experience and adventure from
the moment you leave home. It’s not all about
the destination but the paths you walk to get
there and that they make a fantastic experience.
People who love what they do really do a job
differently.
Cheers

If you are planning a trip to
Tanzania a safari
with Amani Afrika Trekking and Safaris Ltd is a must. I would
highly recommend Temba and his company to
anyone. I did a three day safari with Temba
which took in the Tarangire,
Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro crater
parks.
The highlight of the trip for me was
seeing up close my favourite animals the
elephants!. Temba is a highly experienced guide
with a vast knowledge of wildlife. I felt very
safe and secure when travelling with Temba which
is a must.
Tembas cook Mr.D kept us well fed
with delicious food. Our safari was very
reasonably priced compared to other Tanzanian
safari companies.

From
booking the safari with Temba to taking the
safari itself, I knew we were in good hands.
Temba's honesty, openness, and willingness to
tailor our safari experience to our interests
were invaluable.
With Augustino as a guide, I
didn't feel like I was on some impersonal tour, rather I
felt like I was being shown around by a friend.
I enthusiastically recommend these guys!
Meeting them and taking the safari with
them were among the highlights of my time in
Africa.

As
an American in Tanzania, it's people like Temba that make
you feel welcomed, safe, and in your second home.
Going on safari with him and his crew was a most memorable
experience! Temba knows SO much about the wildlife and
was patient and let us direct where we wanted to drive
whenever we felt the need. He let us stop for however
long we felt necessary.
The places we stayed at were
just as he described them. The food Temba's staff
prepared was DELICIOUS! They were just as much a part
of our memories as the group of 13 other volunteers I went
with were! I would HIGHLY recommend travelling with the
trusty, funny, smart, and KIND, Temba!

“My safari with Temba was
more than I had ever hoped for. We saw everything,
including a mama Cheetah playing with her babies, a large
pride of lions, a pack of hyenas grotesquely ripping apart a
wildebeest carcass and three black Rhinos. I had asked Temba to organize a safari for me so that I could witness
the famous migration and he created a three day safari that
let me see everything and more! I couldn’t suggest a
better guide!!”

“I never thought a bumpy, dusty
road would be much fun, but with Temba's cheerful smile and
unending knowledge it was a blast!”
